This hotel is a real old fashioned hotel. Dont'expect to much, expect what you think you will get. It's a real German, Austrian hotel. A good bite te eat and good drinks. The staff is really friendly. The room was oke.

We booked a quadruple room for 4 (3 sisters over 20 and our mom).
The room was spacious with a large balcony that overlooked the mountains. The balcony is enclosed but has large windows that open up.
The room had a double bed, and 2 single beds pushed together. I was a bit concerned about booking a quadruple room for 4 adults but it was perfect.

We only spent one night in Innsbruck and arrived during a heat -
Very central hotel - couldn't be closer to shops and the old town.
Helpful staff. We arrived at mid-day and our room was already ready.
Spotlessly clean. Plenty of storage space. Good internet connection.
The hotel has a check-in machine in the lobby, so you can arrive at any time.
We had a small room facing the street, but the sound-proofed windows meant we had very little street noise.
Tram and bus stops are right outside, so easy to get to airport or station on public transport.

I liked the hotel very much, the family who owns this house were very very friendly and helpful. The house is situated a few km from the ski resort St Anton am Arlberg. In winter I think you should have a car to go to the ski station -

A truly fabulous stay! Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The surroundings are stunningly beautiful. We could easily have stayed longer. -

We travel a lot and stayed many 4 or 5 stars hotels. Some 4 or 5 star hotels doesn't meet the standard for the price we paid. Although, the Auenhof met the 4 stars quality with decent price. We enjoyed staying there very much! -
