  We stayed for 4 nights in the triple/family room. It was very comfortable and clean. Andrea was a friendly and thoughtful hostess. She was kind enough to do some laundry for us. Thank you, again!! Breakfast was great. We ate the best dinners at the hotel just in front of the guesthouse - I can't remember the name. It's just 30 seconds away.   This is a wonderful hotel, situated just out of town - peaceful, comfortable and with views down th valley. We could only stay for one night but we plan to return at the first opportunity!

  Ramingstein is a beautiful, remote little town with welcoming people. We spent one whole day just hiking in the town and exploring the castle just up the hill from the house. Our children loved the outdoor playground and we all enjoyed eating outside with the sound of the river alongside the property. We made a day trip to Salzburg (1.5 hours one ... what people say » way) but there is so much to explore in the Lungau region itself which would make this place a great location and very budget-friendly. There is bed s - Simply perfect. Location is great: restaurant in 10 meters, hiking paths from nearly the door. Very kind and helpful owner. The apartmant is fully equipped, comfortable and clean. Modern TV with lots of channels. You can even sunbath in the garden and a small playground is also there. Suitable for families.

  Immediatly we felt a warm welcome when we arrived. Helmut invited us for a drink and told us the possibility's of the enviremont and what to do at his place. We were there during Christmas time and it was as if were part of the famous 'last Christmas' videoclip.
