My daughter, two teenaged grandsons, and I felt welcome and quite at home during out stay. Johannes gave us our choice of family rooms and arranged for the wonderful Bob's Tours (ask for Peter to be your guide);Lalith and Alberto were always friendly and helpful.   Everything is excellent. We did like the swimming pool with pure blue water on the hotel's backjard. The hotel itself is very clean and quiet as well as very beautifully decorated in an old style. The hotel is a family run business who are very friendly and speak the English language. The breakfast is friendly and musically surrounded. It takes 10... what people say » minutes to get to the city centre by bus. The price for the bus is in the region of 2,4 euros. The bus stop is in 6 minutes walk from the hotel. - Clean room, friendly atmosphere. Located just outside Salzburg but an easy tram ride into the city. Leave the car at the hotel and use the tram. If you are visiting attractions buy a Salzburg card at the hotel. Well worth the money. We will be back.

  We had a very nice stay at Pension Bergfried and we recommend it to everyone! It is a very nice place with very helpful staff! - The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean.I would definitely stay there again!
