  My favourite hostel where I always stay in Sydney, probably stayed there for 2 months in total. Location is perfect, staff is friendly, rooms are good and clean in general.   We arrived at the hotel and saw the stairs and thought "Oh No", but reception immediately said they would bring our bags up for us. We were really grateful. Same thing in the morning. She totally made my day. Despite the plain look from the outside, the hotel was pretty cool on the inside. My fault for not checking the maps, I thought it would be right next to the airport.   The cleaning staff did an excellent job 'making up' our room every day and made an effort to fit into our doctor appt times. The room was very clean and a nice leafy aspect from the balcony. The reception staff were very considerate in giving us a quiet room at the back of the motel at the last minute. The surrounds of the motel were also very cle... what people say » an. We would certainly go back again. - Location was close to North Shore Private Hospital, the reason for our visit, but also close to public transport for other purposes. There was adequate free parking, not always the case in Sydney. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant served great food for breakfast and dinner.

  The hotel staff were extremely friendly. The location was really good and if you're feeling super lazy you can pay 44 dollars for a week long pass for all the public transport in the city centre.   The staff was very accommodating to me checking in just prior to when they opened up midday and were helpful with information on the busses to the city and back and with storing my luggage prior to my flight schedule. The location is just a short walk from Newtown which is a great neighborhood and has good restaurants that have more realistic pric... what people say » ing than in the city. Great shops, too. It is a relatively short cab ride to the airport. - The staff were super friendly and we would stay there just for that reason. The new beds are super comfy, clean and quiet.....forget about those expensive 5 star hotels with the snooty staff, go to the Ibis as Sy Peters, you wont be sorry...besides all that there is a kfc and a Macdonalds right outside the front door!   Stayed there 3 nights the reception staff were so helpful the rooms were of a decent size beds were so comfy would recommend a stay there to anyone we will be back in 2 years time !!! - Location was good, it was far enough away from the Cross that there wasn't too much noise around.   We were so welcomed the staff were are so friendly. The rooms beautifully decorated, crisp and so clean. The breakfast room and outside patio casual dining makes you forget you are on a busy Sydney street. You walk out the solid front door and there's the beach.   We were two young female backpackers and it was an experience we will never forget....We liked the staff (pretty sure seeing them all dressed like girls was probably why haha)...when we first arrived they offered us free goon....mmmm...played some games ;p had a night out on the town :) they showed us where to get pizza...great atmosphere... And o... what people say » ur own bathroom :d woot woot!!!! Umm and yea it's just very friendly! - Customer service was superb. Soraya at reception was especially helpful and went out of her way to keep family in one room after I changed booking at the last minute. Awesome location, next to central railway and monorail.

  This is indeed a funky little place, loved the paintings on the walls and doors, the atmosphere there with rooftop parties in King Cross intense nightlife area. About 20minutes walk from thr Queen's gardens and the Opera House, 30mins from the piers and city center. - People where friendly. In the middle of kings cross so going out was not a prob... what people say » lem. For $26 it is a bargain. Ample breakfast, and events going around. Ill visit the funk house again.
