Olde world atmosphere, good restaurant, general efficiency. Location.Lovely building in convenient location. good lacation is the only advantage of this hotel.Standard double room was a bit smaller than expected. The rooms were small.It was a bit stuffy. room was rather small and air conditioning was erratic. Yes. The shower-room. because there no room to put toiletries and shaver. The size of the rooms.They were very small. The front desk was always under too much pressure, one person often to answer 'phone, reply to qeries and take bookings. Not good when waiting to check-in, as we were, or when simply waiting for key. Also, we went to dinner at 8.25 and were told kitchen was closed as "it was after 8.30". Not by my watch, which also coincided with clock in lobby. No point in arguing!. dirty, noisy, can't believe it's 4 stars hotel.

The heritage listed dining room, Cello's, has been elegantly restored in exact detail to its original 1920's decor. It is a remarkable example of period architecture to experience during your stay.
