The location of the hotel was central on the main street of Port Douglas which made everything in the street seem so close no matter where we were headed. We loved the pool and made sure we used it daily!   Excellent room with kitchen and a balcony overlooking the sea! We were on the 13th floor so had amazing views of the coast! Very clean and comfortable and a great price for the room / location! A 15 / 20 minute walk to surfers paradise where all the bars / restaurants / amusement arcades / shops are, and the same in the other direction to pacific ... what people say » fair shopping center... If it's too warm to walk there is a bus stop outside the hotel door to surfers, or a 5 minute walk to bus stop to pacific fair - All of it, the views, the rooms were spacious and inviting. The area it is in is fabulously close to everything, We literally parked for the whole week. I feel mean only marking the staff GOOD but I literally did not need them or see them other than entering and leaving the resort. They were friendly without being intrusive. Just lovely.

  Everything was Excellent. Friendly Warm Greeting by lovely staff. We stayed in room 60 which has a spa. Room is very large, small stove, microwave, Iron, Very comfortable bed. Just brilliant. When we stayed it was very windy and not a bit of rubbish anywhere. Well done especially for a place this size. Salt Water Pool, Gazebo and Bbq are immaculat... what people say » e. Plenty of parking. All staff fantastic including housekeeping who couldn't do enough to help. We only live 30 minutes from here and will make this - Location was good, close to a couple of nice restaurants and the marina. We had a lovely sunny room in the morning and it was clean and comfy. Easy to book on line. A suggestion to you is to offer guets the choice of having their towels changed daily, or not. We were only their 2 nights and would have been very happy to have kept the original towels. Saving you unnessary cleaning charges and helping the enviroment.
