  I found the hosts were exceptional in making our stay extremely welcoming. The facilities were second to none. Rooms were beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable.   I cannot express how much of a perfect time we had at Roydon. From the pickup at the airport to the transfer back to the airport, everything was just as we had wished for but better. Our apartment (111) was fantastic, overlooking the ocean and beach. It was spacious, clean and had every facility you could wish for. We booked our Quicksilver cruise to the outer barrier reef with him plus transfers from a bus stop 2 m - We have had the Appartement with two Bedrooms and balcony with Oceanview. The Sunrise was really great to see from the balcony!!!! The Appartement was very big and very clean. The kitchen is well equiped. We felt like home and Eddi was very helpful to orginized our day trips for us. The Roydon is located perfectly at the beach and for day trips around cairns (Great Barrier Reef, Kuranda .....). It is perfect to stay with Children.

  We had made a reservation at Roydon’s for one week but found it more than worth extending and in the end we stayed for almost three weeks. Despite the season and holiday period and our rather short notice decision, we were given a generous discount for the extension period by the manager.   With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. - Apartments are very child friendly. The staff were wonderful and really helpful in organising activities and transfers.
