The rooms decor and the whole house was done like a lovely home setting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Great kitchen in which to cook our evening meal and very good continental breakfast provided (which is a rare bonus for the price and type of accomodation). Staff very friendly and grounds beautiful. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

We loved the personal touch at Glenella, Erin was lovely and cooked us a great breakfast. Very good location for visiting Govetts Leap and the other sights in the Blue Mountains.
Just across the street we found a great restaurant called Vesta. Really recommend it , if you are serious about food !

We where looking for a motel in this area as a stop over from Sydney to
Melbourne, after we visited the Blue mountains in the afternoon. The
Colonial Lodge is a perfect stop for this. The rooms and the bath was
refurbished and we had everything we need. Everything was perfect clean
and the parking is just in front of the rooms. The owners are really
friendly an help out with every information you would need.

There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments.
It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked.
I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

The owners / managers of the motel couldn't have done more to assist us throughout our short stay. The rooms are spotlessly cleaned and are incredibly spacious. It was very modern and spacious, with a good little kitchen for the time I spent there. I was able to make pancakes for me and my boyfriend without any problems. Having a DVD player was great, so we didn't have to bother with a laptop to watch movies on. I also liked how it was quite eco-friendly, and we were able to refuse room service so that we didn't waste time or water on having the sheets washed unnecessarily.
