  Absolutely everything...from the moment we were greeted by the porter to the time we got into the elevator (seriously couldve stayed in there all night and have my own dance party!!) . We were then told that we could have full internet access at no additional charge. Apart from the value for money, the hotel was in a great location for a city visit to Sydney, pleasant staff, very comfy room, excellent house-keeping, L'occtaine toiletries and we took advantage of the gym and outdoor heated pool too. Some reviews had complained the hotel is dated. I wouldn't agree. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back.

Our room was absolutely delightful, very generous size, loved the decor, the beds and pillows very comfortable, not a sound ... what people say » disturbing our sleep, our paper was left at our door in a purpose made bag; music came on within minutes of us getting into the indoor swimming pool. - We were there as the threat of a major bushfire approach. The staff were really helpful and on hand to help us, even though their houses were at risk. This is a great location for all of the sights. We requested something for the room and it was immediate. There is a good choice of food available

Robbie wh - I recently stayed at the Carrington with a sibling. Our grandparents had honeymooned there in the 1920s. The olde world charm, sense of history and beautiful architectural features are so impressive. Scrabble in the Billiard room, reading in the Library, hot chocolate in the Main Lounge in front of an open fire. The magnificent leadlight windows and original paintings only enhance the hotel's unique beauty. I personally would never stay anywhere else while in Katoomba. The huge buffet breakfast
