  Quay West Suites provided all that we needed for a weekend trip to Melbourne. It is within convenient walking distance from the NGV, Federation Square, The Arts Centre, Hamer Hall, etc, with lots of restaurants at Southbank. The staff gave us a cheery welcome and were able to help us with any questions and small matters like storing our luggage a... what people say » fter checkout on the last day. Car parking is provided with Valet Service which worked very well for us (although it is not cheap). Rooms with river o - The location was fantastic for exploring Melbourne - close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. The hotel pool was beautiful and I really enjoyed swimming there during my stay. Buffet breakfast was included in my room rates and the choices were plentiful and a great way to start our day.Overall, I was happy with my stay.

  We loved the location as we were able to catch a tram to the city and walk to South Yarra and Chapel Street. We were also surrounded by wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The staff at The Lyall were so friendly and we felt very welcomed. Room service was used and was high quality. The mini-bar was not a rip-off. Could not fault the Lyall and will be back.
