  Staff were lovely, very helpful, easy to approach. informative; Room was clean, spacious, comfortable & relaxing; bathroom was good; Everything very clean; Trips easy to organise Room & bathroom supplies were good Check in&out very smooth Easy access to everywhere from its location Great value for money; I would definitely stay again (... what people say » if they'd put up with me!) & would certainly recommend the Discovery Cairns to others - Did what it said on the tin. Reasonable price. Walking distance - 15 mins of main drag but quiet surroundings which I wanted. Good restaurant open for reasonably priced breakfast and dinner. Happy hour at the bar. Receptionists could not have been more helpful. If I return to Cairns I will stay again for sure.

  Great location. Friendly staff. - I was upgraded and had a room to myself, it was a clean place, I only spent one night, it was quiet and the staff were helpful. I would stay there again. Located across from the lagoon and close to all amenities, easy to get to from the bus and shuttle to the airport was easy to arrange and cost $10. Good place!

  We really enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave. Gail, the manager, was absolutely amazing and couldn't of done anymore for us. We were given so much advice about the local area, Cairns town center and all the tours. The park is the cleanest place we have stayed on our trip so far, the toilets were immaculate and we never saw another pers... what people say » on in them while we were using them. Our room was great, had a nice cooking area, a sofa, tv and a super comfy bed! What more could you want? It is a - Gail the manager and the staff are very friendly and were so helpful to us, like suggesting places to visit and good day trips. A bus service is up the road, so it was very easy for us to get around. We will be back. The park is a pleasant location, with a swimming pool and bbq facilities. Our cabin was pleasant, spacious and great value for money. Very satisfied.

  We have been using the Balinese for 10 years and it has always been a good stay. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The staff have been great and have even taken personal time to help. The location is great, close enough to central Cairns, but far enough away where you don't have to put up with the noise and traffic. We have tried a co... what people say » uple of the other "Better" grade hotels, but we always go back to the Balinese. - Lovely comfortable room, felt like a really good hotel in Bali. The kitchen is great, we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. Basic breakfast but good to have :) Oh and we got an early check in too which we appreciated.

  There was nothing at all to like, in fact, the place was a health and safety issue. We are going to make a legal complaint regarding the safety of the self contained cabins, plus their fees are not what they advertise, in fact more.
