This place was wonderful. I would fully recommend it to anyone that was thinking about staying here. it was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. There was a little bit of an issue with the washing machine/dryer as it was a bit temperamental but the staff had the magic touch and got it going. My friend and I are fairly active so we did not mind the walk to and from the train station, iga and bottle shop (what holiday for young adults is complete without a bottle-o run) it was actua.
all reviews » I stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. The apartment is really big and fully furnished with all ammeneties you can think of. Very good kitchen with all tools, nicely decorated livingroom. Comfy bed. Very good, free parking garage. Has a great coffee bar right next door and just a short stroll of 200 meters to the famous James street. Certainly will stay here again on my next visit to Brisbane. Staff were very friendly, we asked to be moved as the apartment we were staying in was right beside a building site. They moved us to the opposite side of the building with no problems. We stayed for 8 nights and it was a great location. Short walk to the train station and there are bus stops at either end of Robertson street. James street is just down the road so there are nice bars and restaurants. Huge apartment with lot's of space. Good kitchen. Large balcony but couldn't really use as covered in dust from building site next door. Great location. Near busy area with bars and restaurants. Can walk along the river into town. Washing machine included in applications. I liked the funky look of the building and the modern look inside the apartment, I liked the security and the parking for the car. The staff went out of there way and were friendly. Loved that I could walk to most places. The light up kitchen/rack bench is boss. Easy parking. Heaps of beer/food space in fridge. Good size outside Bryan area! Cook your own dinner entertain and enjoy a pimp pad and go spend all the $ you saved on accom!!. It is somewhat unique - the design and decoration is minimalist and uncluttered - the appartment I had was spacious and had a balcony - Cooking and clothes washing facilities were excellent - will stay again!!. Spacious room - tastefully furnished. Fully self contained - would be great for a few days to get the benefit of it rather than just overnight. Great location, free secure parking. The apartment had everything we needed and it was comfortable and close to public transport. Every thing we asked for we got and we enjoyed the comparative luxury of the apartment. And I'm a critical person. It was noisy at night. There is a no party policy in place but some tenants didn't take any notice to that. I was woken up at 6am from the noise from the building site every morning. It wasn't so noisy when we moved but I could still hear it. There really is a huge building site right next door to the apartments. It looked like it would take a good few months to complete. They start working at 5:30am and are pretty loud. It didn't mean we wouldn't have stayed there but you need to be aware if you're a late riser! No egg cups!!. Please put sign above key pad entry with 'push # then xxxx to enter'. We loved every bit of Miro. There basically were no downsides -. We didn't realise reception would be closed early afternoon as it was Sunday. When we arrived it was locked up, no-one around. When I rang the emergency help number the girl was very friendly and helpful so no dramas. We would have liked a pool. We should have been advised further in advance of the high level of construction interference. The jack hammer was absolutely jarring in both high noise level & vibration. We had to vacate the room for the whole period through both days. I would have expected an offer of a substantial discount in the room rate, and in fact now formally request consideration to a 50% refund of the full accommodation which we have paid. Thank you. Low light in lounge room and the red lights in the bedroom!. The extremely noisy building work going on next door but this was obviously not the fault of the staff.... But s discount might have helped. half-step up and down into and out of bathroom - tripped several times sheer curtaining off of bedroom - why bother. The shower heads suck. shower water pointed out of shower which couldn't be moved, the sparseness made it echo with noises, water pipes in in wall in bedroom made noise that woke us up from 5.30am. Shower heads suck, water eco and modern design but not user friendly. Beds are hard but still better than most places I've stayed. Abit confused was told would be discounted because of the contruction site next door?.. Noise was annoying got woken up at 6.30am to 6pm, had to leave cause couldn't sleep. Construction noise on building next door. No curtains on big windows in lounge area sun came in and made lounge very bright at 5am.. Check in is not until 2 pm but office hours also finish at 2pm.. Seems risky if a guest was a little later than 2pm for check in? Overall the whole experience was great though!. There was a building site directly beside apt and I was woken every morning at 6-30. I was not told till day of checking in. Sound on TV turns off by itself. Had to reset the Bose equipment each time. Nothing to dislike. Nothing. Hot water didn't work for a day and a bit. shower heads put water everywhere. Nothing. Entry via special code was a bit clunky. Key card/fob would make getting in and out of the complex easier. Wifi should be included and not for extra $$$. No towel rails or hooks in bathroom. The reception was not open outside business hours but they did their best to accommodate requests. materials were cheap and not very sturdy eg kitchen cupboards, shower screen, sliding doors off bedroom and bathroom. That we were not told about construction noise occurring next door until we were checcking in. No microwave oven. Unable to darken bedroom enough as it has a winow into the atrium. The no party policy. Sat night we were kept up with people parting. The bed (very hard). Reception hours too short. No Gym arrangements. Too noisy. Air con made parts of the floor wet .... Constant 12 hr noise from building site next door ... Had to relocate room because baby couldn't sleep... No plugs in any of the handbasins or bath. Not sure why there are plastic window panels installed around the wall of the showers in both bathrooms as anyone sitting in the lounge/kitchen area can see through them while you're showering!!?. The apartment was nowhere as nice as the pictures looked....our apartment looked run down...could have done with a paint. For the price would expect a much higher standard. $19 per day for wifi. Completely unacceptable. Please review and come into line with the rest of the world and offer free wifi. There is a construction site right next door. Work started at 6.30 am. It was like being in a war zone. Management should advise customers in advance. DO NOT STAY here!!!. The front desk staff were extremely rude. We were next door to a construction site, with jackhammers going from 6.30am - 4pm. It was very loud and we weren't informed of this, or given an option to relocate. I believe I should receive financial compensation. Being woken up by 7am on a Saturday morning due to noise from the building block next door.
