Near to the main city centre, just a few stops away on the train line. Palermo is a good 30 mins by taxi away - I liked very much the hostel, the rooms are clean, people are very nice, the recepcionists are adorable. I'm brazilian and stayed for four days, went alone to buenos aires and was amazing. The hostel is close to other neighborhoods known like palermo retiro and recoleta. I recommend!

  Scala was a wonderful place to stay, the staff was warm and friendly and accommodating to our poorly-spoken Spanish. The price through letsbookhotel.com was unbelievably inexpensive for the high caliber and lovely accommodations we had. We used Scala in Buenos Aires as a jumping point between the cities we travelled and so stayed there on 3 diffe... what people say » rent occasions within a 2 1/2 week period, and each time it was like coming home. The rooms were clean and had every amenity you could want. We highly - The room and bathroom were both large. The room had french doors opening to a view over the city and the Scala outdoor patio below. The room had a table and two chairs. There are many restaurants very close to the hotel so you don't have to travel far (especially when dinner isn't until 9 pm or later). The subway is only a block away. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

We arrived late at night but the front desk was very attentive. The rooms are enormous and decorated with elegance.   The hotel is very well located within 2 blocks of the "Moreno" SUBTE station, and 4 blocks of other 2 SUBTE stations. The room i stayed was little, but for me as a solo traveller it was reasonable. The Wi-Fi works good on the room, and is complementary. The Operations Manager Rafael Perez tried to make everyone feel at home at the hotel and he and his staff helped everyone who stayed at he hotel. Most of the most can speak English and a few other languages. The price for staying at the hotel was great for what facilities were offered.
