Very accommodating staff - bent over backwards to help us; cannot emphasize this enough. Modern furnishings were very aesthetically pleasing. Nice pool, fitness room and roof deck on top floor. Shared internet (24/7 access). Very good value. Neighborhood was fairly convenient to various parts of the city. The staff spoke English and were very helpful in arranging taxis and getting us tickets to a dinner-tango show at the last minute.

Breakfast was more continental/European, so not necessarily ideal for American expectations. Very limited supply of cutlery and crockery. Breakfast was not very good quality. The area was ok but I didn't feel relaxed walking about at night - it was too quiet once nearby offices closed. I got laundry done which was convenient but incredibly expensive. No waste plugs supplied in the Bathroom. After a delayed flight, we arrived at the hotel at 02.00hrs,to find no hot water available,but it was hot at breakfast time. None for me. The city has quite bad air pollution and garbage in certain areas. The rules of time at picine: top 21hs. No 24 hour front desk, we wanted something to eat 04hs, and only drinks were available. You don´t get utensils unless you are staying for at least 15 days (?), so if you are thinking in renting this apart hotel to save by cooking some meals, you better rent an apartment, it´s same price (or even cheaper) and you can get a better location (this is not in Recoleta by the way). The only spa facility included is the swimming pool, everything else, included jacuzzi, is paid and rates are expensive in comparison with other spas in Recoleta for example. The window in our room was double-glazed but was not fitted properly so the noise from the street traffic was loud. The swimming pool is not heated enough and you have to leave the pool towels at the pool (i.e walk back to your room in your togs!). Breakfast was average and they ran out of items (i.e butter!). Cable TV couldn't be changed to English.
