The beds were nice and comfortable and the bathroom was nice and tidy

Got the timings for breakfast confused but the barman and the waitress with the beaming smile were very accomadating and nothing was too much bother for either member of staff, just sorry I didn't get there names to give them a proper mention.

We were actually booked out to the Holiday Inn as Grays Hotel decided to close for christmas but on check in at The Holiday In we received an ungrade to a deluxe room and the staffon reception were really helpful and great. - Freindly and helpful staff. Everything about our stay was excellent. Danny & Dawn were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very accommodating and the en suite bathroom was of a large size & clean with plenty of hot water. Dawn's cooking was also excellent for both breakfast & dinner. If staying here please take advantage of Dawn's dinner as apart from the wonderful food facilities for dining out in Ironbridge are very limited. At the FMH there is also the added advantage of parking on site. If going to Iron

We arrived to a warm welcome on a cold December afternoon, after a family funeral. We immediately felt more like being at home than in a hotel.

We cannot praise this guest house and its great owners Mel and Brian, their lovely family...including their entertaining resident pooch Basil, enough. This heritage accommodation is quiet, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Excellent quality tea, coffee, biscuits and water is supplied in the room and the gourmet breakfast was delicious.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The room was modern, quiet and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order, with good quality ingredients. despite the owners struggle with refurbishing a listed building which may be off-putting on the outside, it was wonderful inside, in fact quirky and quaint, warm and very welcoming, spottlessly clean with good sized very comfortable bedrooms and all the facilites needed. Great too for real ale fans and the breakfast was first class. Couldn't fault anything and would definately rate it over the traditional national budget types that are all the same and sterile.

The room was delightful with great decor mixing contemporary with classic giving a boutique hotel feel. I suspect there is little else in the area that is providing this kind of hotel experience and it is a shame that there are not more places of this standard for the price in the UK. The food was also excellent.
