The hotel was perfect. Clean, comfortable and with a great staff. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Wonderful hotel. Highly recommend it. - kids just loved the leisure club, couldn't keep them out of the water and the jacuzzi and steam bath were an added luxury.

Spacious accommodation.
Obliging staff.
Pleasant, well-run dining area for breakfast. No cooked food but plenty of cereals, toast, yoghurts, fresh fruit, juices, tea and coffee available to help yourself to. -
Nice room and bathroom bonus it has spa bath!! Staff were great and it suited our needs breakfast was what was stated would go back.

The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you.
The room was excellent and most comfortable.
The location was ideal for our touring purpose.
Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

My room had a lovely view of the river, and in general was very spacious and comfortable. When I arrived at the hotel, I had a business arrangement to attend in another part of the city, and the staff at the hotel were more than willing to assist me with directions. We wanted to stay at a Castle and Mansfield Castle met all expectations. It was a lovely small Castle complete with its own Ghost who is claimed 'to be friendly and does not visit rooms, only the kitchen'. Lovely staff and great experience. Location and room quality. Staff did all they could for rectify any problems. We were upgraded to the best rooms before arrival.Log fire. Did not have to pay for 2 poor meals and scotch for the ladies and a chance to talk the problems over with the manager were much appreciated. I hope they are able to improve the food offer. -

Modern clean rooms with excellent shower room, especially liked the shower gel supplied in wall dispenser gorgeous smell, the hand soap dispenser was the same, we stayed in room 9.
The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while.
The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff.

Excellent hotel in practically all respects. We had a beautiful spacious room, the bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower in it, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, giving us accurate answers to our enquiries, and the breakfast was so plentiful it could keep you going for the rest of the day. This was a stop-over point for us .. the view over the loch is simply lovely .. peaceful.. every changing.. The restaurant was good ..
We had inadvertently NOT made clear that we wished a double room .. and we had initially been allocated a twin room .. we were lucky that a double room was available .. and we were reallocated to this one .. (Thank you !) we will make sure we don't miss putting that in the comments when it is not clear, next time. Great on site carparking.
