Very lovely country house set in a quiet remote place next to a loch.The decoration is very refined in a modern Scottish style. The satff wasvery friendly. The dinner was great (all fresh and tasty). - Everything,it was perfect!

I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. Very approachable staff; fabulous environs, warm, clean and romantic buildings and gardens. Loved the sense of history; staying in Flora McDonald's house.

I have stayed in many bed and breakfast. Many which cost a small fortune
and Were upsettingly of a very poor standard. This is the best one I
have ever stayed in. Everything is very well thought of to make your
stay perfect. Can't highly recommend this place or the lovely people
who run this highly enough so go ahead and book straight away. I have
never left a review before but had to shout out about this one xxx

The Hotel was excellent in every way. The rooms are clean and tastefully furnished. The staff are friendly and helpful. The meals in the restaurant were without exception delicious. This Guest House is managed by very polite and helpfull people! The location is fantastic on the river side near the Castle, just a little walk to restaurants and attractions on the city centre. Breakfast is very good, home made and always with a lot of care from the owners! I'll recomend to every one! I'll go back again if I'll be around!

Staying at this guest house was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Firstly we received such a lovely warm welcome from Jacquie and were given a tour of the house and a bit about its history. The cooked breakfast was delicious and enough to keep you going all day. Cleanliness in the guest house was fabulous. Could not have been made to feel more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble! Loved the idea of one big table at breakfast as this provided a good opportunity to chat to other guests.

Staff were excellent, room was superb (however, admittedly we were upgraded from the outside studio so not sure what the cheaper studio room was like - if this room was anything to go by though probably excellent) - Excellent dinner and breakfast. Comfortable room and pleasant staff.

We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park! Very good value for money! -

The inn is right opposite the working port. I found the view from my room lovely and the stevedores calling, the boats and ships and the fog that rolled in very atmospheric. The welcome we received from Sarah was a credit to both her and The Ferry Inn-thank you.
The room was excellent and most comfortable.
The location was ideal for our touring purpose.
Popeye's was great for our Bar snack in the evening, where it was lovely to chat to the locals, and The Upper Deck was lovely for breakfast the next morning.

Although I arrived early, I was made welcome immediately. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent value for money, the breakfast was first class, and I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel and use the lounge if i wished until my taxi arrived (1.30pm). The attentiveness of the owners was lovely, nothing was too much trouble also very helpful with suggestions of how to spend our time there and even lent us map books. I liked the location very much. It's situated at the end of a small road with a magnificent view of the loch. Close by is the Foyers Falls which have a nice trail close to the hotel. To stay at Foyers bay country house is like staying at someone's home. If you prefer anonymity and to sit by your self. Don't go here. If you like to chat with the owner and play with his dog, this is the place.

I had booked a small room which proved to be lovely decorated. It was located at the back of the house and had all I could wish for. Teapot, plenty of biscuits, two bottles of water, some chocolates.
