Staying at this guest house was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Firstly we received such a lovely warm welcome from Jacquie and were given a tour of the house and a bit about its history. The cooked breakfast was delicious and enough to keep you going all day. Cleanliness in the guest house was fabulous. Could not have been made to feel more welcome. Nothing was too much trouble! Loved the idea of one big table at breakfast as this provided a good opportunity to chat to other guests.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull even though they had a wedding in it did not affect our stay we arrived early and they looked after our luggage while we went for a walk also when we checked out they looked after it untill we went to the airport. and value for money we have stayed at other hotels in the past that have been a lot dearer tha

Two of our party work within the travel industry for a large high end tour operator and are familiar with some of the most prestigious hotels in the world, neither of us could find a single fault with the Daviot Lodge. 6 star among guest houses - both in terms of the accommodation itself and the friendliness of the staff.

Each room had a unique and beautiful view of either the Loch or the garden. We stayed in a room with a garden view and enjoyed looking at the deer, birds and flowers. Finding a place like this little gem means that you are left with good memories of your holiday.
The owners greeted us we tea and shortbread and did everything they could for you and were always cheerful. The room very comfortable with the largest bed we have ever slept in. For breakfast there was a lot of choice and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you Sandra and Allan for a lovely time.

Wonderful location overlooking Loch Leven and the Pap of GlenCoe. Short walk to the GlenCoe Lochan which is beautiful. Easy access to GlenCoe, Fort William, Oban areas. Our suite of rooms (sitting room, dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom) was very tastefully decorated and furnished, and the owners have taken great care in restoring this beautiful house. Lovely breakfast in private dining room. Owners and staff could not have been more helpful!

A picturesque, peaceful place. Large tasteful bedroom, beautifully furnished. Fabulous bathroom/wet room. Nothing was too much trouble. We felt like we were staying with the owners in their own home rather than paying guests. Breakfast was first class. Can not recommend Sandown House highly enough. -
