Loved the location - right on the beach easy 3-5 minute walk into town. Staff was extremely friendly. Beach house was comfy and roomy and decorated as a beach house not uptight hotel. Office recommended horse back riding that was cheap n fun - they rented movies also for free which was nice.

All of the staff were very welcoming, and work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Having stayed in a few of the Hotels rooms now, weve found them all to be very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice, and very well cooked. Beautiful location with wonderful views of the bay and flowers. Very helpful staff - they helped us search for our car keys when we lost them, and were happy to stay late to wait for us to arrive. The lounge has a fantastic picture window from which to watch the sea and sunsets. -

The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too
much trouble. The standard room was large and very clean with a power
shower to die for...blew us away! The food was lovely, very tasty with
large portions and the surrounds were beautiful. There are extensive

Extremely well presented hotel and I love the period decor and the ornate wood paneling in the dining room. Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor. When we have reason to be in that part of Cornwall in the future it is likely that we will use your hotel again. Happy customers. Steve and Donna

Outstanding location for visiting the Cornwall area and Port Issac. The
best restaurant within miles and extremely courteous service. The number
one choice to stay if visiting Port Issac. It is about a 5 minutes drive
to the Port Isaac parking areas which you will have to park in even if
you stay in one of the 3 downtown hotels. Port Issac's is no

Travelled specifically to Port Isaac to visit the 'Doc'! Big
Australian Doc Martin fans. Village was quaint and to make it even more
special, they were in the middle of filming the new series!!! The
proximity from The Longcross Hotel to the harbour was perfect. The short
drive gave you a real feel for the beautiful Cornwall countryside. As
for hotel itself, we found it to be excellent, if not a little
'quirky'! Had a very homely feel, meals were excellent and staff

The hotel design and decorations are great, especially the cafe on g
Floor. Information provided in hotel's leaflet is very useful for
us. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. I am so in love with the
breakfast choices. They are all great E.G. egg benedict, egg florentine,
pancake, omelette etc. which are totally different from other hotels

The Artist Residence is a cosy and lovely hotel. Rooms are comfortable, clean, full of details and nice decorated (each room by a different artist). Breakfast is excellent and staff is really helpful and efficient. Its location - in a quiet street - is excellent for those using public transports, as the hotel is close to the railway and bus station. Very good value for money.

We booked a suite and it was worth every penny, great views great room great breakfast.
We had a swim and had the pool to ourselves its a little dated and in need of some TLC but you would have to be a real winger to complain about this detail. The lifts worked fine but we opted to walk up the tastefully decorated stairs.

Stayed for a weekend in February 2013 and we enjoyed every minute. Hotel very welcoming, clean, nice and warm.
Restaurant is mega quirky and a joy to relax in.
Leisure area utilised, sauna excellent combined with dips in the pool (Which was a bit fresh!)
The breakfast was - delicious. Plenty of choice to be had both hot and cold.
All in all a very enjoyable, relaxing stay and we will book again without hesitation!

We went to Port Wenn and left Port Isaac. For us it was the
quintessential Cornish Port town - so much more than what is portrayed
on the show. The location of the Slipway is, oddly enough, across the
lane from the slipway which means you get to wake up to the sound of the
sea and its gulls which is what you would expect from a seaside holiday.

The hotel lies in the harbor in Port Isaac (as shown on the tv show Doc
Martin) . The village is very quaint and picturesque The hotel was small
and comfortable. The view of the harbor from the balcony in our room was
wonderful, The breakfast was outstanding and the hotel main menu was
very good. The owners and staff were very friendly and professional.
