The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The standard room was large and very clean with a power shower to die for...blew us away! The food was lovely, very tasty with large portions and the surrounds were beautiful. There are extensive grounds which makes a nice walk and there was lots of wildlife which was lovely to see including the odd pussy cat wondering around. This hotel under-sells itself as there is so much more to see and do for everyone. We h.

Breakfast buffet was very good, and the swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were extremely clean. It was a very relaxing place to be. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Trenython Manor. When we have reason to be in that part of Cornwall in the future it is likely that we will use your hotel again. Happy customers. Steve and Donna. This was our first self catering experience and it was most enjoyable. We had luxury lodge 503. The accomodations were excellent: more than adequate storage and equipment available in the kitchen facilities, clean comfortable lounge, dining area and patio. Both bedrooms had en suite facilities. It was faultless. We ate both evenings in the Hotel Restaurant and the food was delicious. The spa was excellent. The staff, domestics,bar and serving staff. A lovely sauna, masage, gym and swimming facilities. Stunning suroundings. The beds were out of this world never slept like that somewhere else, good quaility. The food is wonderful and good quality, and you can ask for things that are not on the menu. I have also made some stunning photos of the garden and the hotel that are worth seeing. It is difficult to find fault with the hotel, for us everything is exactly as I would want from this type of hotel. Staff were excellent in all ways and very accommodating. Meals were very good and value for money. Rooms were comfortable and clean. No indication of anyone having complaints or problems in the week we were there. The meals we had at the hotel were excellent. The breakfast, menu very varied, and plentyful. The evening meals also provided a very good selection ,different menu everyday and were also first class. You have a very good Chef ! All the staff were very helpful ,kind and always had a smile. The facilities, archery, pool, spa, room, sauna and steam room, cinema room, games room, the building, grounds and view. The food was excellent although a little expensive. One of the best hotels I have stayed in and all the staff were wonderful and helpful. fantastic all-round, was very clean and modern. the room was spacious and we couldn't have gotten a better view of the sea. food was excellent and the staff were very polite and always smiling. will definately be visiting the hotel again!. Excellent location close to Fowey rather than Par which is a lovely location. Hotel staff friendly and helpful and dinner excellent. Spa pool is great for a dip after sightseeing all day before a drink on the terrace with views to the sea. The bedroom and spar were excellent. The pool is too shallow at one end for swimming. The hotel and its history was interesting; try to make more of this....picture of Garabaldi etc Food and service was good. Absolutely superb stay, Lodge was very comfortable and spacious. Location quiet and relaxing.Food was great and waiting staff friendly. Easy reach of Heligan and Eden project and lovely beaches. The hotel itself was very nice and offered good facilities for a family. We booked one of the superior lodges which was superb! The grounds were well kept and views over the bay were amazing. The hotel and lodges are set in beautiful grounds. All rooms we used are clean and well cared for. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to The Eden Project (purpose of our visit). We will definitely come back for longer. There is so much more to this hotel which the website does not fully reflect. Evening meals a little expensive but what we had was very good. I have nenegative feedback for this hotel. Hay; nothing is perfect, but this came very near. This was right for the price, and staff did take notice of complaints. They also ask for feedback. Nothing. The only negative comment I have, concerns the lack of a lift in the hotel. Small gripe - Pool table should be free. Breakfast should be servable outside to enjoy the view. Pool, sauna and steam room should close at 11pm rather than 10pm. could have had something in the room to welcome the guests. not any negatives really as it was surperb!. 16.00 hours check in is late in the day along with the early check out of 10.00 in the morning.These timings are a little unusual these days. For this reason we would not go again for one night. Bar prices were uncomfortably high. Couldn't fault it at all. Signposting from village could be clearer. The shower in our lodge was not very good, very low water pressure, but that is my only complaint. Everything else was fab. The fact that we only stayed for one night. We had a large room on the 2nd floor but no view from the small window. All we could see was the concrete upstand. This alone let the holiday down. We have no complaints just a suggestion :- when new people are booking they ask if they can manage stairs. Not disable friendly. Listed building so unable to have a lift so a lot of stairs which were a struggle for my disabled wife. Unable to access the shower over the bath. We may have been better in a lodge in the grounds but we didnot look at one. Late check in time and early check out, not enough time when staying one night to appreciate all it has to offer. would have been nice to have been able to open the windows a bit further than what they would open. Early season maintenance work going on with builders materials untidily scattered around the building. Only one real issue, was informed by a member of staff upon booking the superior lodge that we would have 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed an the other with 2 single beds, both with en suite kbathrooms. This was not the case. Both rooms had double beds and only one was en suite. No other real issues. Just minor to mention that there were no instructions on how to use devices around the lodge. E.g microwave, cooker, dishwasher, heated towel racks. Breakfast could have been warmer. Its a shame we had to check out so early, 11am would be a better time. Mattress on our bed was a bit "springy" and little towel hanging space in bathroom. There were no negative points about this hotel. Very large 'stately' home therefre lacking intimacy and a little tired in places. Check your bill...drink charged to my account that i didn't have. Our refuse was not collect from outside our cabin. We stayed in the lodges which were not 'luxury'. They were 90's Florida old person condo at best. Noise - room over recycling bin area - bottles being dropped into bins and external door banging late evening. Ladies showers in pool area very cool and weak water pressure - hard to rinse long hair!. Bed was to small, would have liked something a little bigger. There was nothing. My only moan is check in wasnt untill 4pm and check out at 10am think 2pm would be better. Climbing the stairs to our room. Apparently its a listed building so a lift can't be installed. No Internet in lodges. Had to go down to main house. Minor inconvenience. nothing.
