Owners have taken care to maintain property to excellent standards.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and comfortable and new shower and
bathroom meant no irritating plumbing problems. Location is close
(walking distance) to city centre yet in a very quiet tree lined cul de
sac in a sllepy neighbourhood for a most peaceful stay. Breakfast
excellently cooked to order and owner extremely helpful and hospitable.

And that would have been a complete waste of a great holiday beak in a great little guest house. It was excellent, and dave, the propriotor made us so welcome. Highly recommended.

We decided on Arden House after reading other reviews on letsbookhotel.com. We were not disappointed. Beverley was a lovely friendly host and gave us all relevant information when we arrived to make our stay most enjoyable. We could not fault the room, food or the other people who were staying there as we made us of the excellent honesty bar after we returned from our nights out in Harrogate. A lovely and enjoyable experience all round.

Good location, Very friendly and helpfull staff (Tabs). Room 2 at the front is a larger than standard room. Radox products in bathroom only downside a bit flowery for us men good that it was not in sachets but full bottles.Tea coffee, Kettle, Iron and ironing board in room. Breakfast was great, the hotel is close to the town centre a short walk. There was ample parking. Free internet access was a bonus. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated. I would recommend this hotel. As a small hotel there is no lift so if you have mobility issues this may not be a suitable hotel for you.
