Centrally located, it offers good value for money. The room was clean and a decent size with everything you would need to hand. The hotel was quiet and despite being close to Sauchiehall Street, was not bothered by any street noise. Breakfast was just right, not too much, not too small, and with quick and efficient service. A good base for exploring the Rennie Mackintosh scene. All staff were very warm and friendly making us feel at home immdeiately. The room was relatively big, clean, well heated and cosy. The bathroom was also clean and hot water were available throughout the day. The dining room was cosy and the breakfast served was plentiful. The hotel in general was very clean, well managed, nicely decorated which gave a 'feel good' ambience.όλα τα σχόλια »
The staff were really friendly and you were left alone if you wanted to sleep longer, No cleaners bangging on your door. Appreciated the friendly staff and especially the close proximity to city center, restaurants, theaters, bus and train. How could I go wrong with a hotel that had my name?. Very convenient for city centre, railway stations, buses, etc.Pleasant, helpful staff. The room was large, airy, clean, and the bed was confortable. The breakfast was more than adequate and a good start to the day. The location was good in relationship to the city centre and allowed us to walk not only into the city but also to the SECC which took 30 mins. Voucher car parking on the street was adequate, and cheaper than than expected.Within walking distance of City Centre and Queen Street Railway Station. Great shower. Hearty breakfast. everything great may be a little too pricey for the room. how close it was to the city centre. Very friendly, helpful staff on first night. Clean room with adjustable heating. Good choice for breakfast - large or small.-value for money, helpful staff, very good breakfast choice, easy access to city centre, room was cleaned each day. The breakfast was generous and very tasty. The staff were very friendly. The location was fantastic.the friendliness of the hotel staff was spot on but also the privacy was excellent. Bed were comfortable and friendly staff, close to town centre.Had room facing away from the front street so had a quiet nights rest and also on the main floor so no long flight of stairs to climb. The breakfast was fantastic! Room was clean and location was very good. I would stay here again. Good value for money!. For the discounted price through this website, the hotel was good value. Rooms OK and breakfast good. The location of hotel the friendly staff. The room was clean and presentable. friendly staff, large room. Sheets not a duvet!!. Quiet area - but close to city cenre. relatively short walk from public transport centres.Excellent location, friendly staff - most we talked to were from Glasgow. good budget accomadation, excellent breakfast, lashings of hot water. One receptionist (Ann Mary) was very friendly and hospitable:). Convenient for City Centre, Plenty of fresh air in room.Good value. Good sized room. Central location. The Location to City Centre. Its central location. The evening receptionist was quite a character Convenitent location in rather student orientated area. Friendly helpful staff. Good location within walking distance of most attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Helpful and informative staff. Friendly, helpful staff.Very friendly staff and proximity to central Glasgow. Good price, fairly central. Decent breakfast. The breakfast and size of the room was good. Staff very approachable. Near the city centre. Good breakfast. Good location. It’s in the city center and if you need something you would get it in a 3 min walk. The temperature inside the hotel was nice. Covenient for School of Art. Price and location. he room was a good size, some staff were friendly. Friendliness of staff, and breakfast. the breakfast!. Location was great for us as we were close to The Royal Concert Hall, a 10min walk downhill. Close to city centre. Fantastic shower with loads of hot water. Decent breakfast. No but very hilly area, may not be suitable for less able!. Acess to the hotel was up 2 sets of steep steps which could be difficult to manage in wet and frosty weather. This didn't apply to me however not recommended for anyone who uses a wheelchair Access to the hotel is up a flight of very steep stairs. stairs in side were steep. Poorly closing window, with draft. More dour staff in morning. -although the hotel room was clean the decor required some upkeep eg wallpaper border was coming loose. There was a lot of internal noise and the main plug point was behind the shelving unit. the climb up to it.no link to mackintosh at all and the no guests after 10pm should have been specified. No - though steep flight of steps restricts access for people with mobility problems. Breakfast - little choice for anyone not wanting full cooked breakfast. coathangers.. they should be better quality. No Shampoo or shower Gel in bathroom. We were travelling light so had not brought any with us. The bedroom we stayed in had a window that did not close making it a bit cold!. bad smell in the room. Mattress on bed - could feel the springs! However, the hotel is due for refurbishment this year, so hopefully that will be remedied. Also would have liked a better choice of breakfast drinks. Only regular tea, coffee and milk were available, these days de-caff and fruit teas, and an alternative to dairy are not unusual.Bed in room could be doing with a new mattress, windows were not double glazed and it was a bit noisy. Quite a climb up to it from the city centre!. Poor soundproofing between the rooms. Small room (but OK). My room was facing the road and it was noisy at night and early in the morning. Perhaps a discount or different rates be charged for the road facing rooms.Fire doors need oiling. Walls were very thin and you could hearconversations in the next room. The hotel it’s an old building with some degradation in the walls and floor. The carpet in the room it’s really old and it wasn’t completely clean.Tired - in need of some refurbishment. Small breakfast - which I can understand, but to get half a slice of black pudding was a bit 'interesting'!. nice lady serving breakfast but no choice given about how eggs where cooked etc, hotel had a rather down at heal feel . better hotels in that row. first member of staff that i met when i checked in was rude, she was arguing with someone probobly daughter while goin through the check in with me. Very poor cleanliness, and shabby. Room at front and was woken by drunken students at 12.30 am and 3.30am!. Didn't feel entirely safe returning late at night.
