This hotel has a cosy bar, a patio and free WiFi. Set in a spacious terrace house, the bright and airy bedrooms each have a flat-screen TV and a kettle. The rooms have fresh, modern decor and all feature a private shower room. The Northern star features a bar, offering a range of drinks. Hearty cooked breakfasts are served daily in the dining room, along with cereals, orange juice, tea and coffee. The Northern star is a 2-minute walk from Blackpool North Railway Station, and just half a mile from Blackpool Tower. North Pier is a 10-minute walk away.

The staff were pleasant and polite and the location was the perfect distance from the train station, sea front and pubs/nightclubs. The breakfast was also great. very friendly staff clean comfortable rooms with at last a place that provides mugs in the room not little cups , easy access will def stay again . The staff are friendly and helpful the breakfast good,The room was very clean. And Blackpool as random as ever Great weekend.

Staff very friendly, and got us free entry to a club, defiantly go back. Just what I was looking for. My 2nd visit and I'll go back. Hotel was clean staff were friendly pretty cheap. Everything great locality for pubs & shops. Staff were really helpful & freindly. Friendly staff, clean room. Great host and hotel. I was phoned by the Mardi Gras the day before my arrival to tell me they had moved me to Mardi Gras 1 due to there not being many people booked in there and hearing not functioning correctly. They gave me all bingo I needed to find it. Room was very comfortable with on suite shower and toilet. Freebies TV and free wifi. Staff very helpful. . The comfort. the sympathy of the owner. Nothing. The room was slightly unclean, next to one of the beds was a handful of crisps scattered around the floor, and the headboard on the bed was also slightly broken. Only minor problems, though. I wouldn't let them put me off booking here again. we didnt find anything to complain about. Nothing. Breakfast is not until 9.30. I would have perhaps liked it to have started at 8.30, but aside from that, nothing comes to mind. We was very disappointed by not having the front room's and the bed was very uncomfortable. Nothing. N/A. No bar toilet pre book rooms to compensate. The down side was that I needed breakfast early divert morning and get only serve it from 9.30am to 10am so not much good as it's practically lunch time bhvgdctime you get done... Bits of food left near the bed. Carpets dirty Not enough space for hanging clothes. dirt and old forniture. in need of renovation. Breakfast served from 9.30 to 10.00 only. How ridiculous. Under bedding was plastic so you sweated all night and woke up wet. Staff needed personalities and how to treat the guest. Especially the breakfast manager. Don't know if any one would return. Very disappointing..
