Everything! Lovely warm welcome from Danny, peaceful and relaxing feel of the hotel, smelt nice, immaculate and clean with lovely decor, pretty room with nice en-suite (fluffy towels!) comfy bed and clean crisp bed linen. Good room facilities, tea/coffee, ironing equipment and hairdryer, tv and iPod docking station. Very quiet so good sleep had! Nothing too much trouble for Danny and Gavin (proprietors) in morning offered full English breakfast which I declined not being a lover of bacon/saudag.

The hotel is situated very close to the railway station and town centre making it ideal for rail users. Decor is of a high standard and to a modern taste. From the public areas through to our rooms everywhere was sparkling. The hotel has a warm and relaxing bar/lounge area and the bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Food is outstanding. If you stay ov. The hotel is a home from home - the hospitality from Daniel and the cooking by Gavin is excellent. They cannot be faulted in the care they have taken and the thought given to the overall look and feel of communal areas and bedrooms. All facilities have been thought of irons and ironing board in every room a docking station for the ipod, flat screen TV and wi-fi to all parts of their hotel. Never need know to ponder where to stay whilst in Blackpool. From aspects of finance, comfort and conveni. OMG! Where does one start. Danny and McHalls should be awarded "The Best Band B in the Universe Award". Staying a week just flew spoilt and looked after to perfection. Gavin's food is superb. Dany is the host with the most. I don't know how many times I have stayed at McHalls now but I'll be back at thievery first opportunity. It's grand being fussed over and treated so so well. Oh and the rooms are wonderful. Beds are so comfortable and amenities second to none. Go there! Stay there but don't. everything!!!!! this has got to be the best value for money in blackpool.. the beds and pillows are so comfy, the rooms are decorated to a very high standard, i really carnt fault anythig, the food is fantastic, all freshly made to order, they now open as a resturant on evenings, menu is to suit everyone.. gavin is amazing shef also selling homemade chutneys ect, your hoast danny is fab, nothing is too much trouble... if you dont get to stay over, do try and vist for a meal as its a experence . Daniel, the co-owner and "front of house", was superb. Friendly, efficient and effective. The bedroom facilities are adequate and the location is as central as can be. It is certainly value for money. Given that it is close to significant nightlife, it was remarkably quiet. However, it is the restaurant, although apparently open only at weekends, which makes the place. The range and quality of food is far above expectations, served by Daniel and cooked by his unseen partner Gavin. Everything. This is the best B&B I have stayed at in Blackpool. Its clean, homely, a few minutes walk from the nightlife and train station. Danny and Gavin couldn't have been more welcoming. The room was spotless, the meals were scrummy especially the home made ham & turkey pie and it felt as if we were eating in a restaurant. I would have no hesitation in recommending this outstanding B & B. Excellent service, very friendly people, good value for money, parking was great as cars were locked secure with locked gates,comfy beds, very modern rooms and clean, food was beautifull , would recomend it very much as hotel was lovley and close to the town centre, very nice people who own the hotel thankyou very much for our stay we will be coming back soon! Daniel and his partner were lovely, so funny and friendly, the breakfast was great although we didnt stay for an evening meal the menu was good, will stay again and will recommend. Nothing everything was superb. There was nothing at all that I disliked. There was nothing that we didn't like about either our stay or the hotel. no negatives whatsoever!. Absolutely nothing. A perfect stay with two perfect hosts. Nothing to complain about. The hand basin was small and under a glass shelf which needed care when in use. I never did master the power shower, but Daniel suspected a fault which he would look into. Shower pressure could do with a bit more umph. There is nothing which I didn't like , just to make an example the hotel in the breakfast the marmalade and jams ,surprisely, are homemade. Nothing.
