Price/performance was ok, since it was a sightseeing tour it was worth it. Staff was always nice and ready to solve problems

The room was very small, there was hardly enough place around the bed to open the suitcase.

The location is very good and convenient, close to the train and bus station, but not too busy. Although it is quite a small hotel, but we found that all facilities is very good including a quality breakfast.

The room is small even for Asian-size tourists like us. Not recommend for those who have lot of belongings or shopping bags.

Excellent location only one block to the Kyoto Railway station and Central City Bus Terminal. Small (as in most Japanese hotels) but well equipped rooms - heated toilet seat! For a small surcharge you get an upper floor room with view.

Hot water is good. The room is also very clean. Do not need tip. The location is very near to the Kyoto Station, which only take 5 minutes walk. There is a 24hr store near the hotel which you can buy anything you want. They also have wi-fi in room.

The room is very very small.

Coffe shop

Cell sized room; very cramped and almost impossible to sit in

The hotel is near the kyoto station, one of the biggest station in kyoto.

The room is very small, and also the bed.

Great location for easy access to transport, and good restaurants nearby. The 7-Eleven next door was also handy.

The room was very old. The bed was so hard and old you could feel the springs digging into you, and we both had to have pain relief tablets following the first night to rid ourselves of aches and pains. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom was so small my hand hit the roof while I was doing my hair (I doubt anyone over 6ft 3in could stand straight). It was not cheap while we stayed either - I'm sure we'd have been more comfortable at a backpackers!
