Kyoto Tower is just 150 metres from the inn, and Gojo Subway Station is a 10-minute walk.
A coin launderette is on site, and the reception can store luggage. An automated wake-up call can be set.
No meals are served.

Very close to the train station. If you are arriving by train, will save you lots of time. Also, the train station is home to the terminal for many tourist buses that run throughout the city. Great benefits to be close to the station.
The design of the room and location is quite good. Just 5 mins walk from Kyoto station and can find bus terminal, JR line, Shingansen, subway within 5 mins walk. Also, there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.
The location is strategic, near Kyoto's station.
The staff is very helpful and informative before and during my stay here, also flexible ( I could take a shower at night though I already checked out).
great location, free wifi, cute koi pool( the fishes are huge!!OMG), the name of each room is unique. the owner is not that enthusiasm as i assumed but helpful enough.
Everything. The best place to stay in Kyoto if you would like to try a
traditional Japanese way of living.
Very near Kyoto Station, just only 5 min. walk.
Nice staff, clean, and comfortable.
Its a traditional Japanese hotel so the none western style bed was something new.
Convenient location. Owner is nice and helpful. Wifi is available in the room.
The staff was superb but the wear and tear on the Ryokan was just a bit dim...
The kindness of the owner and the location 3' from the railway station.
Japanese style, comfortable and nice place with good japanese design.
Beautiful koi pond in the entrance of the ryokan.
Very kind staff.

Very friendly staff.
Very good location.
traditional.
- Very close to the station, though this is by no means the most interesting place to be in Kyoto.
- Staff were super friendly.
Location.
Shared bathroom and toilet. If people walk on the corridor, very distribute.
curfew at 23h00 :) I like night photography so it is a little bit tough for me .
The room was pretty clean, but could improve. Overall quite happy.
The room and bathroom is too small. Sound-proof is not so good and a bit noisy but can accept.
There is no refill water for drink.
Some facilities are a bit old.
The wear and tear didn't effect my overall experience but the oils from ones hands on the door handles was obvious!.
The hours of opening of the Common bathroom and of the réception.
Lack of common tools, e.g. hair dryer, water boiler, etc.
11:30 curfew for being back to the hotel.
I could not used internet although they gave me a key.
Nothing.
None.
a little expensive for the room.
Can be noisy if you have the wrong kind of neighbours, like i had the first night. They kept on talking and talking in a loud (drunk?) way.
A lock on the shower doors would be a good idea.
Literally paper thin walls + hairdryers in the hallway can be testing. But, in fairness, this is a Ryokan so to be expected.
extremely expensive. Not worth at all.
To expensive for comfort level.
