It proved an oasis in a sea of travel - at a time when we were beginning to tire of our journey, our hosts cared for us in a very homely yet efficient way. An absolute gem of a place. Warm welcome, beautiful accommodation and perfect location. Would love to return to sample dinner in the gorgeous dining room as the breakfast was top class and served as graciously as could be possible. We felt like old friends from the first moment.

Wonderful warm atmosphere.
Cosy living room with fireplace, feeling like being at home.
Nice bedrooms with en-suite bath, good working hot shower, everything you need!

Excellent, freshly cooked meals.

Brilliant staff - Sile in particular was great and extremely helpful with tips for exploring the area and even made us feel special by offering us gourmet hot chocolate upon arrival, given as it was our 10th wedding anniversary.
Brilliant location - looking out on the most amazing sea view, cliffs and unspoilt nature. We could see the sea from our bed - how more romantic can one get?

The location was great! Kenmare is a small, quaint town with some minor shopping but many, many, many pubs up and down and on both sides of th street.
Davidtts was also a pub along with guesthouse. The pub food was good and wait staff were nice and friendly.

This was the nicest place we stayed in while touring Ireland. The hotel was very clean and inviting. The restaurant/bar area downstairs was very relaxing and had many beers on tap with excellent food! Live music each night at 7 pm was also very nice. The attention to detail and kindness of the staff could not have been better. Each person was very attentive to any needs you have. 1)The bedrooms were absolutely 5 star. The owner clearly invested hugely in the standards throughout this house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious, while the dining room and living room were equally luxurious.

We usually stay in Ireland for holidays. We booked into Kells Bay House in mid-July this year. Had not been to Kells previously. The gardens are fabulous, a real wonder and the kids loved it. The scenery is breath-taking there. The food and hospitality was top class. Felt very relaxed and welcomed there. The Dingle Bay suite really is great and can easily accommodate more than four. My group also stayed at Dromoland Castle and we all agreed that our stay at Ballygarry House was more enjoyable. The rooms were very comfortable.The price was reasonable. The staff from check in to check out were most gracious and professional. I would highly recommend the hotel.

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at in recent memory. The quality of service and hospitality was second to none. No hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a relaxing and comfortable stay in Kenmare. Fresh towels every day, turn down service, bathrobes and slippers and very large bed. Bathroom was extremely well appointed. -

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Dermot.Teach de Broc has a relaxed.comfortable atmosphere.It is a luxourious accomodation decorated to a very high standard.We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and drinks from their al a carte menu and a lovely hearty breakfast.The owners Aoifa,Stephen,Dermot and their staff were very attentive and courteous at all times and we enjoyed their hospitality.We would like to thank them for a memorable stay.
