It was central , clean and the staff were helpful , The breakfast was good . to be left at the B&B after checkout. Martin offered to keep them

I am very happy I stayed at the Gate Hotel, the service is wonderful, the location could not be better, I was treated with attention. It was my first time in Dublin and they explained to me how to reach to places, gave me full guidance and even helped me get the best spots for shopping. There is also an area downstairs that connects with local pubs that is very nice and you can hear live music or chill and have a beer in other pubs without having to move out of the hotel. I fully recommend it;

I had complains last time I stayed there so I got a discount from the manager this time, it was very nice of him to offer it - Staff very friendly and helpfull,hotel is ideally situated for all busroutes including dublin tour bus and airport transfers

I found Egans to be the best possible combination of a 'chain' hotel and a private guest house. We rented a room for 5 people. It was a full size bed, and 3 twin beds crammed together in a very small room. We only stayed one night here, so being crammed together one night was no big deal. We had our own bathroom plus there was a public bathroom right outside of our door. The lady at the desk was very helpful and informative. She told us of our various options of getting into the city, which is a good distance away.
