  Large clean room, friendly staff, good restaurant, easy access to/from motorway - The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was overpriced for what was available. The restaurant was clean and the food was basic and again we felt overpriced.

  Set in its own grounds, very peaceful, excellent parking. Our room was excellent, large and spacious with good facilities. The food was excellent, although the menu was limited and didn't change for the three nights we were there. Tours is a very upmarket and cosmopolitan area with lots of historical sites.   I really enjoyed my time in Amboise. To some extent that was due to the quality of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. The position of the hotel was great and allowed us to explore Amboise on foot with great access to restaurants and shops. They even had a pool for the summer months.
