Easy access to city centre, attractive 16th century property with interesting history, lots of free parking, friendly and informative staff, useful kitchenette in every room, choice of bath as well as shower, good size double bed and quality bed linen, efficient heating system. - Being given an upgrade without asking for it.

This was my second time at Precheurs Studios, and it feels like my home from home now! In a little side street near Place des Precheurs, in the heart of the old town, you feel like you're an Aixois. The owners are very attentive, free wi-fi and everything you need for a self catering stay. Great value for money and warm & cosy in the winter

Lovely staff - so friendly and always there when you needed them!
Excellent facilities - fully equipped kitchen, wifi, washing facilites and use of a printer all for free.
Great location - just minutes from the markets, restaurants and shops of Aix en Provence.
I would definitely recommend this hotel, for the price it offers outstanding service and value for money.

We loved the hotel, the staff was as nice as it can be. It was the best 3 star hotel we visited. Extremely impressed. As clean as it can be, It should be a 4 star for sure. Perfect location on the main street of Aix-en-Provence, above an excellent restaurant. Huge clawfoot soaking tub and separate shower, big fluffy towels, very comfy bed. We travelled on the Eurostar for our first time in Aix-en-Provence. The
hotel is really a restaurant with rooms but no less comfortable for
that. Our room was right at the front and so a bit noisy on the Saturday
night but the staff moved us to a lovely ground floor apartment at the
back of the hotel for the remainder of our stay. The staff themselves
were fantastic, the room(s) had everything you wanted, and a very good
restaurant just downstairs! We will go back.

We LOVED this accommodation. We had a deluxe double room with a balcony overlooking the garden. The building was a grand old house and the room enormous and filled with traditional character and had a smart modern bathroom. The staff were extremely kind and friendly and were not at all bothered when we arrived very late and checked in at 11.30pm.

Host and manager very charming. We were made to feel relaxed and completely at home. We had the use of a kitchen, frig etc. Comfy beds and lots of charm in the old villa. 10 mins. Walking to town, and then returning to a tranquil environment, only thing missing would be a pool in the summer! I would recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel and grounds were beautiful. We felt like we stepped back in
time. The staff were gracious and helped with everything we needed,
including securing a rental car (which was delivered to the hotel for
us) for day trips to Monte Carlo and St. Tropez. Our room (junior suite)
was perfect for us Americans who are used to more space and privacy

We were two couples in a two bedroom apartment for a short visit to Aix-en-
Provence. The price was good, and the hotel was close enough to town--
not in the center, but a short trip by car. The rooms were clean and
simple, and morning breakfast was filling for a long day of sightseeing.

The hotel is situated very close to the centre of Aix-en-Provence. The
staff was very helpful and nice. I asked for some hot water to make
myself a tea on a couple of occasions and my request wasn't
refused, which is often the case in the hotels with only two stars.
There was also no problem with having our luggage stored once we
checked out in the morning. The room had a little terrace with a lovely
view. I wouldn't recommend taking a cheaper room with the view onto
the road...

Friendly staff, clean facilities, and a very quiet location, despite being only a 5 min walk to both the local railway (non-TGV) and bus stations. Aix is a vibrant destination, with a range of facilities and attractions from the Cezanne trail, to country walking around Mont Sainte-Victoire, and of course lots of shops including a vibrant market several days a week. Marseille is a half-hour train ride away, and we took the bus to the beautiful beach at Cassis.
