  We had one of the cheapest rooms in the chateau but it was beautifully furnished with quality touches like the enormous bath and luxurious bath robes.   We were very impressed by the villa we rented; it was like three individual hotel rooms combined into a house with a very spaceous living room and kitchen.   Excellent location and within very easy walking distance of the railway station (Versailles Rive Gauche) and the famous chateau.   We enjoyed the lovely decor, comfortable bed and nicely-sized room (recommend the Supreme). The hotel is in a lovely part of the city, very near La Madeleine as well as several designer shops. It is off the beaten path just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and accommodating. Fine wine, scrumptious veal and the best crème - The staff were awesome and was always willing to assist us despite the time. I arrived pretty late and they organized a perfect resaurant for us which was fabulous. Typical french restaurant( Tante Louise). If you would like to economise, you probably check another one. I will definately visit it again. What I really appreciated was allowing me to keep my suitcases at the hotel for approximately 3 hrs despite that I had already chech out.
