Very kind and helpful hotel owner who gave recommandations for late evening restaurants after 9 p.m. (best wishes and thanks to him and the lady who served a first-class breakfast!), wonderfully quiet location - an 18th-century historical palais with 15th-century courtyard-entrance very near cathedral, its tower within sight, private courtyard with parking free of charge, beautifully designed rooms in historical style with top modern bathroom facilities ... what else could be said in praise o.
όλα τα σχόλια » Hotel de Panette was a real find. In the old center of town, just two blocks from the cathedral. The 17th century building has lots of character and been restored by a charming family who are also the hosts. Our two rooms were gorgeous and spacious with extremely high ceilings, original wood floors, tall shuttered windows, chandeliers and antiques. It felt like we were staying in an old palace.The breakfast was spectacular. We felt completely pampered. The renovation of this building and its furnishings seems historic and entertaining -- back in time 200 years, or so, if you disregard the flat-screen TV, the minibar, the good wifi, and the modern bathroom. Other plusses: convenient location, quiet courtyard. Unique building superbly restored.Owners have great involvement and interaction with guests. Breakfast in a stunning room was outstanding. Parking was onsite. Location was close to the old city attractions. A memorable stay. beautiful old building restored, room very tastefully decorated, of street parking excellent, location is perfect right in the heart of Bourges, everything at this B&B is perfect we would recommend everyone to stay here. The room was exceptional and the owners very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams and jellies. Coffee with a nespresso machine or filter. Nothing. It was all good!. Nothing. not one thing. Hotel isn't well signposted and was a little difficult to find. The street it is on is only 1 block long and somewhat difficult to find without a detailed map. nothing!. Narrow entrance to parking. musty/mouldy smell of old carpets and furniture, single beds very small.
