From the minute we stepped inside Dewaterzooi we loved it. We were met with a welcome drink and sat down at the table with the owners who told us what Ghent had to offer. Our room was lovely, looking out over the old castle walls and onto the bustling square below. This was a business trip, so I wanted an easy morning drive to the Doel industrial estate instead of coping with Antwerp city traffic. We were made very welcome at the hotel and being from another country this always helps. A family run b&b so you get the personal touch that you don't recieve in bigger hotels.

Lovely accommodation in the grounds of an old farm courtyard. The B & B is in a stylishly converted barn. Very nice place to stay. Very kind and considerate hosts. -

The staff were excellent, particularly the front desk, they were knowledgeable about local access, e.g. trains, buses, trams, shopping. The restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful.The apartment was very comfortable, down to the heated floor in the bathroom, a spacious shower area and quality fittings.

The landlady was very kind to wait for me late in the evening on Saturday. The hotel is a masterpiece, I felt like being back in the past with all this old-fashioned furniture, paintings on the walls. The hotel is situated in belgian village, and this is so charming and recalling staying at grandma's site in childhood.

Very friendly and helpful host. Clean, warm and comfortable room. Angelique respected our request for a large firm bed and was kind enough to change our room after the first night. Good breakfast selection.
Close to motorway connections and plenty of space to park.

Comfortable and very well maintained. A good place for a relaxing stay. The owners are friendly and welcoming. You can discover the region by bicycle by taking one of the many bike routes. -

We liked everything about the hotel: forthcoming and courteous staff, beautifully designed and appointed rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. Perfect location. - We had a nice discount, so we stayed in this very luxurious hotel for the price of a 2 or 3 star hotel. Everything was spotless. And the location is supurb!
