  The Hotel is what is advertises to be, A budget hotel. it has all of the basics required to sleep in for the night. We were a family of 4 on a one night stop over. Family room was sufficient for our purpose (to sleep after 18 hour travel). Rooms were clean. Hot water & shower worked. Staff were good & helpful. For the price, it was really good. - Price was fantastic.Considering this is a budget hotel, I was shocked that towels were changed on a daily basis, have stayed same amount of time at more expensive hotels & not had towels changed at all during stays. Staff were very friendly & very helpful. Fantastic place for the budget conscience with a fantastic location.

  The hotel has been recently renovated and is very clean and tidy. The location is perfect - whithin 5 min. walk from the airport (McDonalds is even closer). Room is small but has a TV, reverse cycle aircon, toilet/shower cubicle and sink. Hot drink and snack machines downstairs ($2 for a cup of tea or coffee). Very helpful staff. Overall, I thought it was perfect - It really is walking distance from the airport - under 5 minutes, and reasonably well signposted. Happily surprised to find bar fridge, coat hangers, mirrors, en suite etc. This is not a Formule 1 anymore, with recent renovations it has certainly gone up a notch. We got lucky and were on the non-airport side of the building so a view of green hills was a nice surprise.

  So close to Southern Cross Station for early morning departure on Overland train next day. Close to Convention Centre only a couple of stops away on the tram for attending a conference. I was still able to have free breakfast in the morning even though I was ready to check out before 7am when breakfast normally starts.   Exactly what we needed, to stay overnight in transit between states with air fares. Close enough 2 airport & expect to pay aprox $30-$35 for a taxi.
