My husband and I absolutely love the way Julie and John greet their guests. It's like visiting an old friend's house: going into the living room, have a cuppa and a lovely chat, rather than the usual "business like" check in. The Briarfields was extremely clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owners were friendly and welcoming and made you feel very at ease. There was also a vast selection for breakfast cooked to perfection and the hosts were very accommodating with special requests. Both my husband and I would definitely recommend Briarfields if you are planning a stay in Torquay.

Owners Carl and Sharon were very friendly and welcoming. Property was exceptionally clean and room was spacious. Breakfast was great, always freshly cooked, with multiple choices available. We, and especially our 4 year old grandaughter, were well looked after. Location was close to the seafront, and an easy walk to the shops and train station. A very enjoyable stay.
