  Our concern that the Hotel may be too close to the Motorway was quickly dispelled as we ventured into the Worcestershire countryside.   What a chef!! Brilliant bar, relaxing comfortable hotel in a tranquil setting. Great communications for working and ample parking. Just the place to relax and unwind after a long busy day. Nice gardens to the rear, great charm and character tastefully decorated with air of the late 20's hovering in the atmosphere. Hotel lounge and restaurant has been refurbished and they are completing the last floor of rooms shortly. We stayed in one of the classic rooms not yet refurbished, but was still very pleasant.   We booked in at around 7.30 on Thursday evening and the Receptionist, Sue, could not have made us more welcome or gone to any more trouble to make certain everything was right for our stay. I have not come across better customer care for some time and have just returned from a holiday in America where customer care is always excellent. We loved the garden centre and the steam train, they are both in the country park just around the corner from the hotel.   We liked the fact that it is virtually next door to our family who live on Birchfield Road. We have stayed there for the last few years for a Birthday celebration. The staff could not have been more helpful.
