  This was a wonderful Guest House. The best we have experienced this trip to Scotland, perhaps the best ever experienced in all our travels around the world. The hosts were generous in greeting us with a glass of very good wine. The. Bedroom was spacious & beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house. Highly recommended by us. - I was made to feel very welcome/Karen and Ian were excellent hosts and the room was fantastic. Breakfast was superb and Ian makes what is probably the best bowl of porridge you'll ever have. He also makes his own sausages which are very tasty ! The house was beautifully kept and the room was very comfortable.. I had a very enjoyable stay. Thankyou.

  We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots.   I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower (unusual in the highlands) Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was first class.... was die leute sagen » I didnt use the restaurant, but had a meal in the bar, food was good and the locals very friendly. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to Inverness. I will happily stay here again!
