  A good location by the beach and easily reached by public transport or by car. We drove and parked in the hotel car park which is remote from the hotel in a key code locked compound. We were not disappointed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was lovely and views across the bay were great. Shanklin village is a short easy walk away, as is the beach and seafront.

  Our room was lovely, there was 7 in our party so we had three rooms, one of the rooms was a double with kitchen facilities and because no one had used it the previous night we were allowed to use it when we got there, (which was quite early in the morning) which gave us a great base, and allowed us to use facilities, which after travelling several... was die leute sagen » hours it was fab! Car park adjacent to the hotel which was great and again we were permitted to use this early too. Breakfast was great, full cooked - Wonderful,friendly professional welcome - we had stayed in several places on the Isle of Wight over the course of a week - all advertising themselves as in the same bracket - and Yelf's was the first place to tick all of the boxes. The staff are friendly and welcoming: these people really know what they are doing. Next time I would base myself at Yelf's for the whole week.

  We enjoyed our short stay immensely. The staff were very polite and friendly. Excellent food, tasty, healthy, great variety. Room was very clean with a comfortable bed, central heating. The hotel is located in a very nice quiet area within an easy access to the station and the shops. Bathroom was small but perfectly formed with an excellent shower. Tea and coffee were plentiful and they had mugs! Breakfast was excellent with a good selection well prepared. A beautiful building.

Some day I would like to stay at this hotel again. - We were offered an upgrade on arrival to a premium room at a attractive price that was well worth it as the room was my larger and had a very comfy sofa. Staff were very friendly and wanted to help. Location was very good and only a short drive to the beech, easily walkable but would be uphill on way back. Will stay again if we go back to the Isle of Wight.
