  We loved the classic old style pub, especially when the log fire was lit in the evening. Lots of atmosphere with interesting photos on the walls. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the freshly cooked -to -order breakfast. - Vicky was welcoming from day 1. The food we ate at breakfast and at night was superb.   Liz and Kevin are the new owners of The Coach and Horses....they only had been the new owners for 6 weeks at the time we stayed there. They are warm and welcoming. The pub/dining room is a historical building sitting on a major hwy. The guest rooms are in a "newer" building at the back of the property. I believe there only are 4 rooms. We were... was die leute sagen » in "Bourton". The rooms are modestly furnished, clean, comfortable and quiet. The meals there were good with a friendly atmosphere. They are locat - Very friendly and warm welcome. Room was cosy, warm, well appointed and very clean, the fixtures and fittings were stylish and overall very homely. The village of Bourton on the water is only a 10 minute walk so it is well situated to amenities nearby. Food was excellent and presented beautifully. The atmosphere in the pub was very good and very friendly. I would defiantly recommend this pub as a good place to stay

  The staff was truly remarkable- they saw to every need and then did more. Your comfort and attention to detail was the top priority but offered in a personal way. The restaurant and staff offered fine dining that was fresh, delicious, and again remarkable. The family- run care was evident. - Number 4 at Stow was easy to access. We needed to check out early and were provided with breakfast outside the normal hours as requested.
