We stayed in the four poster room with view down the hill into the bay from the window. Hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast was a good wide choice of traditional British, with a clean and bright dining area. All in, we seriously enjoyed our stay.

Tony & Jill are excellent hosts and clearly enjoy what they do. The relatively small nature of their business allows them to be more personal and create a home from home atmosphere. The extra touches were a bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and really set us up for our bay walk to Torquay. We'll be back in the off season for some bracing walks along the prom ! -
My criteria for this trip were simply: economical; close to train station; WiFi and ideally with breakfast. 5-out-of-5 all round for this place and the bonus of welcoming and friendly landlady and landlord was doubleplusgood. Breakfast well worth getting up for, clean and comfortable rooms and ideally located for public transport, walking and the town centre.
