  This was the second time staying at this hotel. The owners are friendly and courteous and the facilities are what you would expect of a hotel with a much higher star rating. We stayed in a self catering room on this occasion and found it to have everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The upstairs Boathouse restaurant has views across the cove and we had dinner watching the sun set. The food was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and efficient. The view and sound of the sea from our room. The location is brilliant for walking the coast path to beautiful bays, and only 15 minutes drive to Salcombe. The village of Hope Cove is really pretty and quiet, with a very small Post Office stores.

  Superb location with hotel tucked into the side of a green hill overlooking the sea - very peaceful and serene ! All rooms are located at ground level (brilliant if stairs are a problem) and our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and always on hand to help.
