  All of the staff were very welcoming, and work hard to ensure you have a great stay. Having stayed in a few of the Hotels rooms now, weve found them all to be very clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice, and very well cooked. Location of the hotel was excellent as not in centre of Newquay; so quieter; but the seaviews were fantastic. Local recommendation for food was good too.

  Sehr freundliche und persönliche Betreuung, großartiges Essen,schöne, ruhige Lage,ein Platz zum Wohlfühlen! - Hazel was the perfect hostess. Nothing was a trouble, great advice on local walks etc, including maps & notes ( prepared by hotel). Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order. Room lovely. We stayed in room 1, in main building, great as... was die leute sagen » pect, opened on to balcony with access to garden. Lovely guest lounge & bar area. Superb stay in tranquil garden setting. And to top it off, the evening meals were outstanding, presentation & service amazing, new menu each night, with at least two fish - The service was superb and nothing was too much trouble. For example -asked for warm milk for coffee on first morning and this choice was remembered each succeeding morning. Local walks were helpfully printed for us. Both my wife and myself remarked that there was no cooking smell at mealtimes. The room was spotlessly maintained each day and used tea and coffee sachets replaced with same. We ate twice in the restaurant, the first time being for our 50th wedding anniversary and enjoyed beautiful

  Charming and unpretentious, I loved this hotel because it did not have the facilities or glamour of a boutique hotel but it had staff who cared , was very clean and comfortable and had a good old fashioned honesty about it which is so hard to find. Dinner was fresh , beautifully cooked and completely delicious. - Room a bit on the small size but ... was die leute sagen » nice and clean. Even though our room was situated at the back, the little gate to the side of the building was so handy and you didn't have to go through the hotel to go outside. Great breakfast with friendly staff. Lovely comfy beds with cosy duvets. The shower was fantastic.
