  We were welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits after a long journey down from London. We loved the 'honour' bar system in the evening. The breakfast was delicious - all home made or local food. Beautiful view across the valley. The room was great - clean and very comfortable. The place was very quiet at night. They run a great place and have an eye for little details that made our stay great (thanks guys!). Had one evening meal which was delicious, again cooked using local produce .

  The skill of the staff was immediately apparent as we arrived and our suitcases were quickly delivered to our room without fuss whilst we checked in. Unobtrusive yet always there is the hallmark here and we were waited on with charm and humour throughout our stay. Food is also outstanding so it's hard to imagi - The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and courteous during our stay. From the moment we entered the hotel they treated us like very special guests on a very special occasion. On top of the excellent accommodation (we had a seaside view superior room) the food was also delicious, presented in a very elegant and sophisticated way. Thank you All!

  This hotel is a little gem. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and well- equipped. The restaurant was excellent and the lounges welcoming. But it's the staff that makes this place special. They couldn't have done more for us.
