Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

Everything! We couldn't fault a single thing. Anyone who does is incredibly picky because we loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Three nights there was like a two week relaxing holiday. We will definitely go back and we can't wait until we do. Cannot rave highly enough about this gem of a place. Divine. -

Gorgeous comfy little hideaway. Tiggy is lovely and made us feel so welcome. Superb fish and chips from Lewis's ..actually did us for two meals.. bacon and eggs and bread provided for breakfast, and orange juice and muesli and fresh ground coffee...just excellent!
Lovely walks along the coastal path to Mousehole and enough small shops to mooch around. Will be back!

Firstly I would like to say that the people who run the place were very friendly and helpful and the most hospitable people I have met in my experience of staying in a wide variety of hotels.
The place was spotless and extremely fresh with an expert touch on the decor.
The breakfast in my opinion was cooked to perfection.

The cleanliness and look of the B & B was exceptional. The way it was decorated was lovely and modern. Made us want to come back to the accomodation abit earlier to chill out. We stayed at the st ives harbour hotel and spa two days previous and just added on Downsfield to the end of our stay, but i would definatly return to Downsfield eveb though its further to get to town it was a much more nicer and homely place to return too. Easy stay for our visit to Saint Michael's Mount. For my older mother, it would have been a bit too far to walk to Saint Michael's Mount, but it was only a 6 minute drive. Out of town but very quiet and easy for people with camping cars. We stayed in a lodge. Two bedrooms, front room with sofa, chairs, and TV with HDMI ports. Kitchenette. Laundry facilities were clean and efficient. Nice and helpful staff.
