  I was half expecting a noisy room over a bar, but I was very wrong! The accommodation is housed in a discreet and newly built wing. The room was enormous and beautifully designed and fitted to a very high standard. The room I had looks much better than the one they use on their site, so reality far exceeded expectations. Arrived here to friendly reception at about 11.30pm with drinks brought to room. Rooms were smart, breakfast enjoyable, dining area had outside terrace with views and location was absolutely perfect for our travel plans. Would recommend to anyone doing what we did.

They took us to our room, carried luggage, explained the wifi and advised about booking a table in the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely, and though we thought we'd eat elsewhere at least once, we ended up eating at the Riverside every single day. The menu is great and varied, and the food is of high quality.   We all had an amazing week, the staff were so friendly, the rooms lovely and all our needs were catered for! We will be back before the summer is out! - Warm and welcoming especially on a wet and windy September day. The host and hostess were absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much trouble.
