  A very warm welcome when I arrived. Home made Lemon cake was a delicious treat after an 8 hour journey. Room was lovely and the bed was extremely big and comfortable with top quality bed linen. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of organic/free range items which was a pleasure and the fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice was amazing. The breakfast at The Bank House B&B was be - Bank house is a beautiful period property and the owners have gone to great lengths to get the decor and furnishings just right. The food was outstanding, we class ourselves as 'foodies' and were certainly not disappointed, the menu was extensive and the fresh fruit salad on your table was a lovely addition. The owners are very friendly, helpful people who go to great lengths to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, from the homemade bread and cakes to being just lovely people. Would recom

  This lovely little guest house is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. From the friendly and helpful staff to the quality of the furnishings and even the detail of the furnishings, right down to the location. It was exceptionally clean and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was spot on! Definitely a - My wife and I stayed a few nights at The Ashberry Guest House. it is ideally located for both Penrith town centre and the North Lakes, northern M6 area. The owners are very helpful but not overbearing. The guest house itself is very modern, clean and comfortable. And the full English breakfast was very nice. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it.

  Very friendly owners, they were more than willing to help and were lovely to chat to giving it a lovely personal feel to our stay. From arriving with a warm welcome to recommendations for food that evening, Alex and Jeff were very helpful and polite in everything they did.
