  Beautiful room;very clean and plenty of space. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast! Perfect location; very quite but only a few minutes walk to the city through the museum gardens. Sherry and mince pies at the front door was a lovely touch around Christmas time. Will definitely be booking back here on another visit to York. Would recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to York city centre with the Minster being around a 10min walk away.

  We picked up the keys and were delighted when we saw the apartment, which is actually a little cottagey type house, overlooking Clifton Green. It was very modern, clean and simple. Everything we needed was all there for us. It was incredibly great value (£90 for 3 of us) and only a 5 minute walk from the city centre. The wetroom was lovely too. Friendly owners Nichola was very accommodating when we arrived early and let us park our car and leave our luggage! Will definately be using this accommodation again for our next trip to York :)
