There is a room called "Castle suite" with a marvelous sight of Edinburgh's C - -Friendly staff. -Great location- only a short walk to key places (waverley, castle, etc). -Room nicely furnished. -Extremely comfortable bed, the best nights sleep that I've had in a long time. -Nice atmosphere. -The cost to stay was the lowest that I could find in the area on that night (just £57), yet you wouldn't have thought it for how nice the place was. Because of this, I would definitely stay again and will recommend to others.

The top floor stairs is old and torn but so full of charms. Nice rooms in harmony with building, furniture and facilities. Run by friendly owners and an adorable old cat watching the lounge. Most of the wall lights had bulbs missing (not good trying to put makeup on!) and one of the bathroom lights was also out. Apart from that its a great hotel in a great loc - The hotel is located above the Rick's bar and restaurant. However, the noises won't reach the rooms. The room is a bit compact but cosy enough. There are a wide range of drinks that could be chosen in the minibar of the room. And breakfast could also be ordered from the restaurant below. The location is good which is not far from the castle.
