  The hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. Soft leather chairs and twinkly lights. The room was excellent with quality fittings and nights sleep. I liked the idea of the room names (but would have liked the names to have some relation to the buildings history).

  Choosing accommodation in a city that you are unfamiliar with is always hard. We chose well as this hotel is brilliantly located in the "old " city right off the Royal Mile. This apartment hotel is reasonably priced and is brilliantly locate - Wow- fantastic hotel. We got it for a really good price through letsbookhotel.com and our stay was perfect. The staff were brilliant and so attentive allowing us to check in early and assigning us to a fab room. The room was spacious bright and colourful with lots of lovely added extras including free movies,mini bar drinks, robes and slippers.   There is NO better place to stay. The staff is simply wonderful... Especially Harvey! This is the most ideal location.. You are by everything! It made my hop on hop off tour kind of pointless because of the fact you are that close to everything...and the flats were fantastic!! The one on Blair st is updated and a bit modern while the ones on High... was die leute sagen » St have more of that historic charm. I stayed an extra day because I enjoyed myself so much. They are very accommodating, helpful, and considerate. - 1) Location for sight-seeing. 2) Facilities included kitchen and washing machine in apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped for its purpose as a travel accommodation. 3) Separate bedroom, so if you travel with someone whose sleep schedule is different than yours, they will not have to wake you up. I don't know how much the company will accommodate your request, such as for a quiet apartment, but they supposedly do have different properties under their management, so it's worthwhile to ask.

  The caretaker, Rachel, is very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the fact that we could park the car safely on site - a rarity this close to the centre of Edinburgh. We booked a studio, but were actually upgraded to a 2-bed flat for the same cost, which was nice.
