  This was our first trip to Edinburgh. We were hoping to book a hotel closer to the city centre, but as ours was a last minute booking, we were limited for choice. As it turned out, the Britannia was just perfect for us and we're now very pleased we chose it. We live in a very busy area of London, and our first night at the Britannia was the most ... was die leute sagen » peaceful and quietest sleep we'd had in years. Just lovely and perfect for us. The hotel itself is ugly, massive, chain-like, but people are okay, walking distance to town attractive, there is a park and a river road, so, I recommend this place!
